Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart Discuss Their New Family One-act DC LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS

The comedy duo Kevin Hart and Dwayne "The Stone" Johnson teamed up again for the upcoming animated moving-picture show, DC LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS.
Although Hart and Johnson previously acted alongside each other in live-activeness comedies like JUMANJI (2017) and CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE, this will be their first projection in the blithe globe together.
In the movie, which hits theaters July 29, Johnson plays Krypto the Super-Dog, and Hart plays his friend Ace the Bat-Hound.

Johnson reflected on his production company, 7 Bucks, working with DC to bring a family-friendly movie.
"For our company Vii Bucks to come in and partner with DC to produce this film, it was very heady for us equally well," Johnson said. "This was a commencement for Seven Bucks Productions, and one that nosotros were all very excited to work on, because we saw a really wonderful opportunity here to not only continue to work very closely with our partners at DC, and our partners at WB, [but] perhaps fifty-fifty bigger than that, the opportunity to deliver for families effectually the globe.
"That was an opportunity for all of u.s.a. at Seven Bucks that we really wanted to take reward of and we took a lot of pride in. To create and deliver Super-Pets to families effectually the earth this July is a very exciting thing for all of us," he added.
While animation does non demand that actors tape their voice lines together in the same berth, Hart and Johnson said they made a point to tape some of their "bigger" scenes from the movie together.
"When yous're doing animation, yous have to trust in the other people in the bandage, because you're not in the booth together," Hart said. "You want to know that your partner is doing the same piece of work, if non better than you. I think Dwayne and I know each other'southward cadences, each other's tones. I think at that place's a overnice little comedy seesaw that we're able to provide while staying true to the story, because we've worked together so much.
